Platinum Curved Stairlift
The PLATINUM curve is a personal curved (round the corner) Stairlift, designed for the domestic user. The Platinum Curve Stairlift is the perfect solution for you if the staircase in your home is not perfectly straight. If you have bends halfway up or at the top if the stairway, the Curve is the solution for you.
To ensure the user has a smooth ride the Platinum Curve has a PDMC motor to provide a gentle journey. The stairlift also comes with a twin rail mechanical leveling system and special rail bending process to give gentler turning on any corners. The seat on the Curve stair lift is ergonomically styled and includes plump padding and cushioning to ensure comfort.
On the machine, there are a number of inbuilt aspects to ensure the user’s safety. The lift comes with a retractable seatbelt as standard to secure the user in. The seat is able to swivel, making it easier for you to get on and off the machine. The PDMC motor has a brake to slow the machine on its descent to prevent it from travelling too fast. The footrest and carriage have a number of pressure-sensitive safety edges that will stop the lift immediately should it come into contact with any obstacles on the staircase. The stairlift also has a key-switch to prevent unauthorised use by anyone.
The Curve stairlift also comes in a heavy duty version. The Curve Heavy Duty stairlift is the same as a normal Curve stairlift but built for a larger person. The lift has an increased maximum weight of 25 stone and comes with a wider seat and a more rigid frame to ensure more strength and stability from the machine.

All Platinum stairlifts come with two handy infra-red remote controls. Particularly useful when there are two users of the stairlift.
The control paddles are located on the end of each arm and operate with the lightest of touches. Ideal for those with limited dexterity.
For your safety all Platinum stair lifts are fitted as standard with a retractable inertia seatbelt.
Platinum stairlifts are fitted with a manual swivel seat as standard operated by a simple paddle lever. A powered swivel seat is also available as an optional extra.
